2. The data we collect

• Identity and contact data: name, email address and phone number.
• Enquiry data: how you would like to invest (joint venture or lending), which investor category you tell us describes you, any investor statement you sign, and anything you tell us in messages or calls.
• Booking data: the details you give when booking a call through TidyCal.
• Technical data: information your browser sends when you visit the website, such as your IP address and browser and device details, and the essential cookies described in section 8.
• Marketing preferences: whether you want to hear about future opportunities.

We do not intentionally collect special category data. Please don’t send it to us.

4. Who we share your data with

We share data only where necessary, with:

• our UK hosting provider, which hosts this website;
• our email provider: messages sent through the enquiry forms on this website are sent by email using the website’s mail server and are held in our email system;
• TidyCal, which provides our call booking tool, if you book a call;
• Google, which provides the map on our Contact page (see section 8);
• professional advisers such as solicitors and accountants, where needed for an investment;
• regulators, law enforcement or other authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some service providers, such as Google and TidyCal, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

6. How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that don’t lead to an investment: up to 2 years after our last contact.
• Investor and transaction records: as long as the law requires, normally 6 years after the relationship ends.
• Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, have it transferred, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact geoff@hmosales.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns first.

This website uses essential cookies only. These are needed for the website to work, for example to keep it secure, and do not need your consent.

We do not currently use any analytics or advertising cookies or tools.

Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps map. When that page loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect information such as your IP address. Google’s use of this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. If you would rather not load the map, you can find our address in the footer of every page.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the website may not work properly.
