About Geoff
Geoff has been investing in property for 11 years and is a keen advocate of property
investing over other forms of investment. Geoff has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a
Masters in Business Administration. He has developed businesses in Digital Marketing over a 15-year
career, along with a successful property management company that was sold in 2019. He is a
numbers man who focuses on the detail of the deals, ensuring that deals meet strict criteria before
investments are made. Geoff finds the deals and matches partners with the right deals to meet the
investment criteria of each partner. Geoff also looks for strategic exits and is always on the look out
for ways to liquidate assets for the right price at the right time.
About Gemma
Gemma has been investing with Geoff whilst initially maintaining a career in HR, as
European HR Manager for John West Foods. Gemma has a degree in Psychology and a further
Masters in Personnel & Development and uses her skills with people to good effect. In 2016 Gemma
went full-time with Geoff working on the HMO business, successful developing a range of HMOs
from 4 beds, 9 beds and 16 beds. Gemma maintains excellent relationships with builders,
contractors and partners. She manages projects to deadlines and coordinates the refinancing and
management of the property to ensure the assets reach maturity as quickly as possible. Gemma
manages the monthly accounts, looking for ways to optimise the on-going cashflow of assets.
Our Experience
We began our investment journey in 2009, first buying flats in Liverpool city centre. In 2014 we changed our strategy to buying 2 and 3 bed terraced houses in the suburbs of Liverpool, notably Anfield and Aintree before moving into HMOs. Our first HMOs were a variety of smaller multi-lets through to 9 bed HMO conversions. We have since developed a number of sui-
generis HMOs of 7 bed plus, for both students and professionals, converted hotels into large HMOs.
We are now working on land deals to build HMOs from scratch. We are fortunate to have had great
mentors over the years with bags of experience that have furthered our investments. We are proud
parents of 3 wonderful boys and live by the sea just 20 minutes outside of Liverpool.
